The flood disaster caused a lot of destruction in the city of Derna and its surroundings. According to the government's request for international aid in Libya, HAK Humanitarian Aid Association continues its work to save human lives and minimize damage by extending a helping hand to the victims of the disaster.
After learning about the flood disaster, the teams loading the water and food which are of immediate and basic needs on the ship of the Republic of Turkey. They are also preparing their equipment to carry out search and rescue activities in the flood-ravaged country.
Afterwards, the teams reached the region with the aid ship coordinated by AFAD, departing from Izmir Port, and began working to rescue the dead and injured while participating in search and rescue operations.

Ali Gür, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hak Humanitarian Relief Association, met with Zafer Sırakaya, Deputy Chairman of Justice and Development Party and Head of Foreign Relations.
Murat Aydın, a member of the board of the association, and Ümit Bakır, the representative of Ankara, were also present in this visit.

<h2>Devastation of Flooding</h2>
Heavy rain on 7th August caused flash floods in South-eastern Bangladesh, submerging areas in Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Bandarban, and Feni; isolating 230,000 people. The flood situation may worsen with continuous rainfall, with landslides resulting in the deaths of 4 people and damaging 718 houses. Emergency shelters have opened and urgent aid, including food and medical assistance, is being provided.

According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, ongoing heavy rain is forecasted to exacerbate floods in the next 24-48 hours. Emergency responses include 193 temporary shelters, 43 medical teams, and the allocation of 20 tons of rice and cash support. In Cox's Bazar refugee camps, 1,431 shelters have been damaged, with relocation efforts underway. The government seeks emergency food, clothing, and hygiene support for those affected.

In many regions of Africa, since there is no Quran, memorizers are educated with memorization boards. The association gifts the Quran to students with the distribution project it carries out in these regions. Ali Gür, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hak Humanitarian Relief Association, stated that they did not remain silent in the face of violent incidents and accelerated their educational activities, and that these intolerances were against human rights and that they strongly condemned them. Gür, who reacted to the Swedish government's attitude towards these events as well as the acts of hate, said: “We invite the whole world to raise their voices against such events. 'We must respect the values and protect the religious rights of Muslims,' he said. With a ceremony held on Saturday, September 9, the representative office of Hak Humanitarian Relief Association was opened in the city of Van. In this ceremony, in addition to the head of association Ali Gur, Foreign Relations Coordinator İmdat Avli, Adil Demircan Responsible of Anadolu, Board Members Murat Aydın and Barış Atbaş, Some association officials and many people from Van were also attended.
Following the introduction of the program presenter Furkan Merter, the head of association  Mr Gür spoke at the Van Representative Office Opening Ceremony, he stated that the foundations of the association were laid in 1963, and it gained the status of a public benefit association in 1967.
Gür stated that since 2017, we have been working as the Hak Humanitarian Relief Association. As a result of the aid given to us by you, we have reached millions of needy people in many countries of the world, and we will continue to do so.
